-----In the past the International Arts Festival has partnered with Kids To Africa, New Orleans Recreation Department (NORD) Teen Camp, Food Drives and QUEENS (Qualifying Undisputed Excellence and Noble Standards). Other partnering organizations are Mercycorp, Audubon Nature Institute, Save the Children, Gulf Coast Community Foundation and the Umoja Committee

At the IAF Children's World Playground all ages participate in a rejuvenation of community spirit, cultural exchange and edu-tainment through art and music. Children enjoyed two full days of mask making, water painting, coloring and a variety of arts & crafts as well as storytelling, dance workshops and an energetic drum session. The IAF Children's World Playground continues the International Arts Festival's effort to bridge world cultures by demonstrating the power World Music has in bringing people of diverse backgrounds together creating an atmosphere for experiential learning where children explore and discover diverse cultures through traditional clothing, art and storytelling by Griots. Introduces indigenous instruments and folk songs in a sing-along forum. Plans programs specifically for children in areas of fashion, entertainment and art.
